I love your site Greg! It’s so nice to have the tech info along side the photo’s. Especially since I use a 20D and am just starting to collect lenses. Im wondering why you don’t have a 5D yet!!
So my husband and I bought plane tickets to come down to Costa Rica for the first two weeks of February yesterday!! We’re from British Columbia, Canada and it’ll be great to get away from the cold.
We would like to do a day tour with you, I think I saw it was about $200 for two people? Instead of spending time in the studio as a workshop (im already taking photography classes here) is it possible to go into the rainforest, or anywhere that is good to see wildlife? My husband doesn’t shoot, but he’s definitely an animal lover so it would be nice to do something together.
Thanks for your time, Lorena
Hi, Lorena. Well, the 5D is definitely something I want but I’ll have to sell few more tours and stock photos before I’m able to get my hands on one
I would love to do a workshop with you out of my home. We can work on hummingbird and bird photography and then do a bit of sunset photography as well so you can work on a good mix of different techniques.
Please e-mail me at greg@fotoverdetours.com with more details on your dates. I have a photo tour from Feb. 2-11 but hopefully we can work something out while you’re down here.
Best regards,
Greg
March 11-21 I was on the Elderhostel program with Monica, Yehudi and Jose. Each was fabulous in his area–all great photographers, also. Keep this trio together, as they compliment each other and work so well together. Monica was so very helpful and patient, always ready to answer questions and offer constructive criticism. What sharp eyes they each had in spotting wildlife to photograph! Yehudi’s commentary on the areas we visited, wildlife, etc was fascinating and informative. Jose was a great driver, so careful and observant. The sites selected to visit were great choices. All three were excited to share their “amazing shots” with us and to share in our pleasure with ours. No negative comments at all! Even the weather co-operated. Offer another program with these three, a little more advanced techniques and I will return!
